Arduin’elles is an educational game aimed at secondary school students, helping them to learn Arduino programming in an accessible and entertaining way.
In concrete terms, this interactive game is made up of several modules presenting scientific innovations.
The aim is to find the creator of each innovation. As the game progresses, we learn that all the scientific innovations presented were created by women. It’s a way of raising awareness among young girls and boys of the place of women in engineering and science.
The project also aims to counter the Matilda effect, which involves attributing a discovery to a man rather than to the inventor herself.
Until a few years ago, women could not be engineers or scientists, as these professions were considered to be the preserve of men.
The school salutes her action in favour of gender equality in engineering and all the work done on Arduino programming!
Héloïse took her project to the Les Ingénieuses competition organised by the CDEFI, brilliantly winning the prize for the most committed school – in the school association category.
To encourage her to develop her project, Hubert COSPAIN – President of ESEO, presented her with a cheque for €300.
Héloïse’s commitment doesn’t stop there, as she is also involved in another project that has just as much impact: humanitarian work. Héloïse is President of the ESEO’s Humaniseo club, which this year is once again taking part in the Race for Dreams, in partnership with Rêves, an association which helps people suffering from serious illnesses to realise their dreams.
