Autonomous drones: special jury prize for the ESEO team at the Aqua.Bot challenge.
The Aqua.Bot challenge came to a close on 15 December at the grand final organised at Technocampus Océan in Nantes. On this occasion, our brilliant students Théo Magne & Eliot Coulon received the jury’s special prize for “Best participation during the competition”!
Aqua.Bot is the very first 100% virtual challenge to develop a functional mission system for autonomous drones, organised by Sirehna and Naval Group, in collaboration with Schoolab.
After two months of intense competition, the ESEO team was one of 28 teams that stood out and were selected to pitch their projects to a panel of experts at the final.
It was a unique and highly rewarding experience for Théo and Eliot, who presented their project for “securing a maritime area using an autonomous drone as part of a sporting event”.
A big well done to Théo and Eliot, both students in their final year of an apprenticeship engineering course, for their achievements and this prize, which rewards their creativity and their involvement with Sirehna!
