Last Friday, February 2, ESEO, Grande École d’enseignement, inaugurated the Excellence 5.0 Platform in Angers. This innovative educational tool was developed as part of the school’s brand new professional training in Lean Management with EasyLean+, entitled “Green Belt Lean 5.0”.
Designed to meet the needs of companies in the sector, it is aimed at all first and second level managers and professionals in support functions (quality, maintenance, etc.) who wish to improve the performance of their teams via management methods and innovative organization. The first training session begins in May 2024 on the ESEO Angers site.
The Green Belt Lean 5.0 at ESEO: training that meets the needs of companies
A major engineering school for digital transformation, ESEO trains future engineers in new technologies through project-oriented teaching, while promoting an entrepreneurial spirit. To meet the new performance needs of manufacturers, it is launching “Green Belt Lean 5.0”, professional training in Angers in collaboration with EasyLean+, a company with expertise in Lean Management and innovative learning methods.
A globally recognized approach, Lean Management aims for operational excellence through resource optimization, optimizing company resources and improving activities. In this dynamic, the “Green Belt Lean 5.0” training is aimed at all supervisors, local managers and industry technicians who wish to develop the agility of their team and better respond to their customers.
Mohammed Ramdani, teacher-researcher responsible for research at ESEO, explains “This professional training was born from a survey carried out with partner companies in the sector so that the latter meets their expectations in terms of Lean Management. ESEO intends to introduce this state of mind to professionals who wish it, with a touch of digitalization at the end of the training cycle, in particular through initiation to the industry of the future.”
10-day training over 5 months provided by Lean Management experts
The “Green Belt Lean 5.0” training offered by ESEO and EasyLean+ in Angers offers the opportunity for future industry leaders to experience their learning in a realistic professional world, via a practical and fun approach, particularly through training. in constant application in the educational factory.
Each training session lasts 10 days over 5 months. The first will take place in May 2024 and will bring together 12 participants. It will be provided by recognized Lean Management experts, EasyLean+ consultant-trainers. They will also benefit from an innovative educational tool, “La Plateforme Excellence 5.0” installed at ESEO Angers.
The Excellence 5.0 Platform: a 200m2 place dedicated to Lean Management
To meet the needs of this training, ESEO created the Excellence 5.0 Platform on its Angers campus. This 200m2 space dedicated to learning the basic principles of Lean Management is made up of 3 levels: a traditional production zone, a successful lean zone and a “factory of the future 5.0” zone.
The Excellence 5.0 Platform will notably allow you to learn about improving the workstation and processes, the introduction of work standards, the resolution of quality problems, the optimization of machines and automated flows or even to the acceleration of processes on 5.0 bricks, thanks to learning Lean Management tools and behaviors that support changes.
